Leaf raking

Lawn and hard surfaces raked and bagged, bags stacked where you ask for pickup day. Add beds and borders if you want those cleared too.

What it is

The whole yard raked, bagged and stacked where you want them, without you touching a rake.

Front Range leaves come down in two or three big drops between late September and Thanksgiving, and the first hard freeze usually lands in the middle of it. A leaf raking visit clears everything that has fallen on the lawn, the walks, the patio and the driveway in the parts of the yard you choose, bags it in the bags your pickup accepts (you leave them out; the crew brings the rakes), and stacks them tied in the spot you choose at booking: by the garage, at the curb, wherever suits your pickup day.

The work is done by a local teenager who has read our raking guide, passed a test on it, and works from a checklist on their phone: before photo, rake into rows, bag as they go, hard surfaces last, corners and fence lines checked, after photos from the same spots. Our team looks at those photos before your card is charged.

When to book it

Fall: once the first big drop is down and again after the last one. A second visit 14 to 21 days later is 10% off, and most yards need exactly two. Spring: plenty of people leave the leaves down all winter, for the bugs and as a blanket for the beds, and want them gone in March or April; the same booking works then, same price, and the crew knows spring leaves are matted and heavier.

Who does it

On the day

How a leaf raking visit goes.

  1. You pick front, back or both, a size for each, and a three-day window. We confirm the day the evening before.
  2. The crew member checks in on their phone at the curb and takes a before photo of each area.
  3. Lawn first, raked into rows and bagged as they go. Then walks, steps, patio and driveway swept clean. Beds and borders only if you added them.
  4. Bags tied two-thirds full and stacked upright in the spot you chose. Gates closed, toys and hoses back where they were.
  5. After photos from the same spots, checklist submitted, our team reviews, and only then is your card charged.

What you'll see after

An email with the before and after photos and your receipt, usually the same evening. You have 24 hours to flag anything after that; if something was missed, we send the crew back or adjust the price, your call.

Prices

Fixed by yard part and size.

YardSmallMediumLarge
Front $79 $109 $149
Back $79 $109 $149
Front + back $139 $189 $259

What the sizes mean

  • Small: Up to 1,500 sq ft, about 30 × 50 ft or less. Townhome or patio-home yard, or the front of most suburban lots.
  • Medium: 1,500–3,500 sq ft, about 50 × 70 ft. The back yard of the usual suburban lot.
  • Large: 3,500–7,000 sq ft, about 70 × 100 ft. Quarter-acre lots and up, or anything with mature cottonwoods.

Sizes are per part, so a small front and a medium back is normal. A second visit 14 to 21 days later is 10% off. Not sure? Pick the bigger one; if it turns out smaller you pay the smaller price.

Good to know

Questions people ask about leaf raking.

Anything else? Send us a note.

Yes. Leaving the leaves down over winter shelters pollinators and insulates the beds, and plenty of homeowners prefer it. Book leaf raking in March or April and the crew clears the matted layer the same way; it is the same service at the same price, just heavier bags.

Not by default. Leaf raking covers the lawn and hard surfaces. Add "Garden beds & borders" at booking and the crew clears beds, borders and around shrubs by hand too. If the beds also need cutting back for winter, book Garden bed put-to-bed instead.

You do: the paper yard bags or whatever your pickup accepts, left on the porch. Most haulers only take specific bags, so the ones you already use are the right ones. The crew brings the rakes and a few spares in case you run short.

No. Bags are stacked where you tell us at booking, ready for your municipal pickup or your trash service's yard-waste day. Most Front Range cities run fall leaf pickup; we never haul because that means a truck, and the whole point is teens with rakes.

Crew members may bring a battery blower for beds and hard surfaces. Never gas. If you'd rather hear nothing but rakes, tick "rakes only" when you book.

The crew checks the size against the booking before starting. Bigger than booked: we message you with the difference and you choose before any work starts. Smaller: you pay the smaller price.
