About Wild Fox Seasons
Small jobs. Big opportunities.
Wild Fox Seasons started with a rake, a Saturday and a teenager who'd never been paid to finish something before.
Why we do this
A first job is a rite of passage. We're bringing it back.
Wild Fox Painting has painted homes around Littleton and the south Denver metro for years. Along the way we noticed how few of the teenagers we know had ever held a real job: one with a start time, a standard, a customer, and a paycheck with taxes on it. The lawn-mowing and leaf-raking jobs that used to be a rite of passage mostly went to professional crews.
Seasons brings those jobs back on purpose. We take the small outdoor work, and light indoor upkeep for 18-plus crew, that doesn't need a truck or a ladder, price it simply, and hand it to local 16-to-21-year-olds with training, a test on every service, insurance, and someone checking their work. Homeowners get a fair price and a tidy yard. The crew gets something harder to buy: the experience of being trusted and coming through.
It also happens outside. For a lot of families that's the whole point: a few hours a week with a rake instead of a screen, earning something real.
How we keep it safe and fair
The same rules on every job, for every family.
None of this is fine print. It's how the service is built, and it's why a parent can say yes and a homeowner can hand a stranger's kid their back gate code.
Safety for a teen at a stranger's house
The part we take most seriously.
A teenager working alone at an address they've never seen is the real risk in this business, and we built the service around it rather than around the leaves.
The rules every yard crew member signs: work outside only, never enter a house, garage or car, daylight hours only, keep your phone on you, never give out your number or accept cash or a ride. Every customer has a card, an email and a phone number on file before a crew member ever sees an address. Parents of minors get an email at check-in and at the end of the job.
Back yards are out of sight of the street, so crew members can bring a partner on any job if they'd feel better; it's their call, and the app splits the pay. And the app has a one-tap safe-stop: leave first, log it after, and our team follows up with the customer so the crew member never has to.
What we ask of homeowners
Patience, mostly. The crew member in your yard is doing their best at something new. If you see them, a hello goes a long way. If something isn't right, tell us through your booking page rather than at the door, and we'll handle it. Our team reviews every job, so a miss gets fixed and a lesson gets learned without anyone's day being ruined.
Who's behind it
A painting family that wanted its kids outside.
Wild Fox Seasons is a service of Wild Fox Painting, a fully insured, family-run painting company based in Littleton, Colorado. The same people who answer a painting estimate answer a Seasons email.
Painting and our sister company Wild Fox Drywall are professional crews serving Colorado's Front Range. Seasons runs wherever teenagers want a first job, which is why it may be the first Wild Fox you've met. Crew members who do well and want more than seasonal work get a reference into the trades; the professional side explains how that works.
