What to expect · Patio furniture & deck wipe-down
Patio furniture & deck wipe-down: what done looks like.
Tables, chairs and railings washed with mild soap, rinsed and wiped, the patio swept, cushions shaken out.
The standard
This page is the same one the crew is trained on.
Every crew member reads a guide for patio furniture & deck wipe-down, passes a test on it, and ticks a checklist on their phone while they work. Our team reviews their before and after photos against this standard before your card is charged. Here it is, so you can hold us to it.
Done means
- No water spots on glass or metal.
- Cushions back on the right chairs.
- The crew's checklist
- Work area clear and tidy
- Bags tied and at the curb
- Gates closed as found
- Not part of this job
- pressure washing, staining, cushions laundering.
- Typical time
- About 1 hr 15 min for a typical yard
Clean, not restore
Damaged or stained is different than dirty.
This is a cleaning. The crew takes off dirt, dust, cobwebs, grime and fingerprints with real effort and a product that suits the surface. What it won't do is change anything permanent or set in: worn or chipped paint, scuffs that went through the finish, water marks in wood, rust, dents, old scratches, sun fading, hard-water etching on glass, or stains that have soaked into grout, fabric or bare wood. Those need a painter or a refinisher, not a cloth. If you're not sure which you're looking at, send a photo with the booking and we'll tell you honestly before anyone comes out.
In pictures
Not good, and good.
In each picture the left side is what our team sends back, and the right side is what you should see when the crew leaves.
How the day goes, step by step, is on the patio furniture & deck wipe-down service page; this page is the standard the crew is held to.
Before we arrive
What you have ready.
- Outdoor spigot on.
- Cushions out if you want them brushed and wiped; anything fragile put away.
- Dogs inside for the visit.
The crew brings: Bucket, cloths, soft brush, mild soap.
- Reminders
- This list is on your booking page, in your booking email, and in a note the day before the visit.
- Crew age
- 16 and over, tested on this job.
- Weather
- Furniture can't be washed in rain or below freezing. We move the visit if needed and email you the evening before.
- Something not ready?
- Reply to any of our emails and we'll move the visit. Nothing is charged until the job is done.
That's the whole standard.
No fine print. If what you see doesn't match this page, say so within 24 hours and our team sends the crew back, adjusts the price or refunds.
Seasons is new. We expect most jobs to be claimed by a local crew member within a day or two of booking and to happen as planned, but some won't be. Some don't: nobody claims the job, weather stops it, or the crew member who claimed it gets sick, and another crew member may not be free to pick it up. When that happens we email you, nothing is charged, and you can rebook in one click or walk away. We'd rather say that plainly than promise what a small crew can't.
