What to expect · Light bulb replacement
Light bulb replacement: what done looks like.
Up to eight burned-out bulbs swapped for the customer's bulbs in reachable fixtures, tested, covers back on, old bulbs bagged by type.
The standard
This page is the same one the crew is trained on.
Every crew member reads a guide for light bulb replacement, passes a test on it, and ticks a checklist on their phone while they work. Our team reviews their before and after photos against this standard before your card is charged. Here it is, so you can hold us to it.
Done means
- Every listed fixture lights.
- Covers back on straight.
- Old bulbs bagged by type.
- The crew's checklist
- Each listed bulb replaced and tested
- Old bulbs bagged (LEDs and CFLs kept separate)

- Typical time
- About 20 min for a typical visit
In pictures
Not good, and good.
In each picture the left side is what our team sends back, and the right side is what you should see when the crew leaves.
How the day goes, step by step, is on the light bulb replacement service page; this page is the standard the crew is held to.
Before we arrive
What you have ready.
- New bulbs, right base and wattage, up to eight. The old bulb's base and the fixture's maximum wattage are printed on them.
- Which fixtures, in the booking notes. Anything higher than a two-step stool reaches is out.
- An adult who lives there home for the whole visit.
- Pets in another room.
- A clear path to each area on the list.
The crew brings: A two-step stool and a bag for the old bulbs.
- Reminders
- This list is on your booking page, in your booking email, and in a note the day before the visit.
- Crew age
- 18 and over, ID verified, background-checked.
- Weather
- Indoor visits aren't affected by weather. If roads are bad enough that the crew can't get there safely, we'll email you and move it.
- Something not ready?
- Reply to any of our emails and we'll move the visit. Nothing is charged until the job is done.
That's the whole standard.
No fine print. If what you see doesn't match this page, say so within 24 hours and our team sends the crew back, adjusts the price or refunds.
Seasons is new. We expect most jobs to be claimed by a local crew member within a day or two of booking and to happen as planned, but some won't be. Some don't: nobody claims the job, weather stops it, or the crew member who claimed it gets sick, and another crew member may not be free to pick it up. When that happens we email you, nothing is charged, and you can rebook in one click or walk away. We'd rather say that plainly than promise what a small crew can't.
