What to expect · Window well cleanup

Window well cleanup: what done looks like.

Every well is clear of leaves, trash and dead growth down to the gravel, the grate or cover is brushed off, the drain isn't buried, and the well looks like someone cared.

The standard

This page is the same one the crew is trained on.

Every crew member reads a guide for window well cleanup, passes a test on it, and ticks a checklist on their phone while they work. Our team reviews their before and after photos against this standard before your card is charged. Here it is, so you can hold us to it.

Done means

  • Every well clear to the gravel.
  • Covers back exactly as found.
  • Nothing stored in the well left out of place.
The crew's checklist
  • Work area clear and tidy
  • Bags tied and stacked in the spot the customer chose
  • Gates closed as found
Not part of this job
climbing into deep wells, removing heavy covers or grates that are bolted, window washing, drainage repairs.
Typical time
About 40 min for a typical yard

In pictures

Not good, and good.

In each picture the left side is what our team sends back, and the right side is what you should see when the crew leaves.

How the day goes, step by step, is on the window well cleanup service page; this page is the standard the crew is held to.

Before we arrive

What you have ready.

  • Bags your pickup accepts, at the bag spot you chose.
  • Count your wells and tell us in the notes, and say if any cover is bolted or heavy; those stay on and get brushed from the top.
  • Anything stored in a well (hose, planters) moved out, or tell us it's fine to lift out and put back.
  • Gate unlocked, dogs inside for the visit.
  • Sprinklers off that morning.

The crew brings: Gloves, a hand broom, a trowel, a kneeling pad. The crew reaches in from the edge; nobody climbs into a deep well.

Reminders
This list is on your booking page, in your booking email, and in a note the day before the visit.
Crew age
18 and over, tested on this job.
Weather
Wells are cleared dry: not in rain (slick edges) or under snow. We move the visit if needed and email you the evening before.
Something not ready?
Reply to any of our emails and we'll move the visit. Nothing is charged until the job is done.

That's the whole standard.

No fine print. If what you see doesn't match this page, say so within 24 hours and our team sends the crew back, adjusts the price or refunds.

Seasons is new. We expect most jobs to be claimed by a local crew member within a day or two of booking and to happen as planned, but some won't be. Some don't: nobody claims the job, weather stops it, or the crew member who claimed it gets sick, and another crew member may not be free to pick it up. When that happens we email you, nothing is charged, and you can rebook in one click or walk away. We'd rather say that plainly than promise what a small crew can't.
