What to expect · Spring bed cleanup & weeding

Spring bed cleanup & weeding: what done looks like.

Winter debris is out of the beds, weeds pulled by the root, edges tidied by hand, and the beds are ready for mulch or planting.

The standard

This page is the same one the crew is trained on.

Every crew member reads a guide for spring bed cleanup & weeding, passes a test on it, and ticks a checklist on their phone while they work. Our team reviews their before and after photos against this standard before your card is charged. Here it is, so you can hold us to it.

How the day goes, step by step, is on the spring bed cleanup & weeding service page; this page is the standard the crew is held to.

Before we arrive

What you have ready.

  • Bags your pickup accepts, at the bag spot you chose.
  • A tag or note on anything that looks like a weed but isn't. When in doubt the crew leaves it.
  • Gate unlocked, dogs inside for the visit.
  • Sprinklers off that morning.

The crew brings: Hand weeder, trowel, hand pruners, gloves, kneeling pad, tarp.

Reminders
This list is on your booking page, in your booking email, and in a note the day before the visit.
Crew age
16 and over, tested on this job.
Weather
Beds can't be weeded in rain or under spring snow. We move the visit if needed and email you the evening before.
Something not ready?
Reply to any of our emails and we'll move the visit. Nothing is charged until the job is done.

That's the whole standard.

No fine print. If what you see doesn't match this page, say so within 24 hours and our team sends the crew back, adjusts the price or refunds.

Seasons is new. We expect most jobs to be claimed by a local crew member within a day or two of booking and to happen as planned, but some won't be. Some don't: nobody claims the job, weather stops it, or the crew member who claimed it gets sick, and another crew member may not be free to pick it up. When that happens we email you, nothing is charged, and you can rebook in one click or walk away. We'd rather say that plainly than promise what a small crew can't.
