What to expect · Pet waste cleanup

Pet waste cleanup: what done looks like.

Every pile in the lawn and the beds they pointed out is gone, double-bagged and in the bin or the spot they chose, and nothing is left on the grass.

The standard

This page is the same one the crew is trained on.

Every crew member reads a guide for pet waste cleanup, passes a test on it, and ticks a checklist on their phone while they work. Our team reviews their before and after photos against this standard before your card is charged. Here it is, so you can hold us to it.

Done means

  • Nothing visible left on the lawn or in the named beds.
  • Bags double-bagged, tied, in the right bin or spot.
  • Gloves off, hands clean, gate closed.
The crew's checklist
  • Work area clear and tidy
  • Bags tied and stacked in the spot the customer chose
  • Gates closed as found
Not part of this job
indoor messes, litter boxes, hauling, yard treatments.
Typical time
About 30 min for a typical yard

In pictures

Not good, and good.

In each picture the left side is what our team sends back, and the right side is what you should see when the crew leaves.

How the day goes, step by step, is on the pet waste cleanup service page; this page is the standard the crew is held to.

Before we arrive

What you have ready.

  • Dogs inside for the visit, please; the crew member is a stranger with a scoop.
  • Tell us where the bags go: your outdoor trash bin, or a spot you name. The crew brings the bags.
  • Point out any beds or corners the dog uses that aren't obvious, in the booking notes.
  • Gate unlocked.

The crew brings: A long-handled scoop, nitrile gloves, bags. Everything is double-bagged and tied.

Reminders
This list is on your booking page, in your booking email, and in a note the day before the visit.
Crew age
16 and over, tested on this job.
Weather
Fresh snow hides what we're there to find, so a snowed-in yard waits a day or two for melt. Rain and cold are fine.
Something not ready?
Reply to any of our emails and we'll move the visit. Nothing is charged until the job is done.

That's the whole standard.

No fine print. If what you see doesn't match this page, say so within 24 hours and our team sends the crew back, adjusts the price or refunds.

Seasons is new. We expect most jobs to be claimed by a local crew member within a day or two of booking and to happen as planned, but some won't be. Some don't: nobody claims the job, weather stops it, or the crew member who claimed it gets sick, and another crew member may not be free to pick it up. When that happens we email you, nothing is charged, and you can rebook in one click or walk away. We'd rather say that plainly than promise what a small crew can't.
