What's included
Included: pulling spent annuals, cutting back perennials you point out, raking beds clean, bagging. Not included: pruning shrubs or trees, hauling, anything above shoulder height.
You have ready
- Bags your pickup accepts, at the bag spot you chose.
- A note or a tag on anything that should NOT be cut back or pulled (bulbs coming up, a plant you're unsure about). When in doubt the crew leaves it.
- Gate unlocked, dogs inside for the visit.
- Sprinklers off that morning.
The crew brings: Hand pruners, gloves, kneeling pad, tarp. No hedge trimmers, nothing woody gets cut.
The honest part. Seasons is new. We expect most jobs to be claimed by a local crew member within a day or two of booking and to happen as planned, but some won't be. Some don't: nobody claims the job, weather stops it, or the crew member who claimed it gets sick, and another crew member may not be free to pick it up. When that happens we email you, nothing is charged, and you can rebook in one click or walk away. We'd rather say that plainly than promise what a small crew can't.
Who's coming, and the house rules. Your crew member is a local teen or young adult, trained and insured, often working their first real job. They work outside only and won't come inside, even if invited; they work in daylight; they won't take cash, rides or your phone number; and they'll leave if anything feels wrong. Please keep dogs inside and gates unlocked. A friendly hello is the best thing you can do for them.
